Olga
Olga was born in Russia in 1961. She studied art education and taught in both government and private schools for over 15 years, specialising in primary art.
From 2000 to 2008 she worked for several non-government organisations, implementing social programs in Vladivostok in far-eastern Russia. Most of these programs involved children, art and the environment.
Journey
Sally’s Vale
Olga came to Australia to learn English in 2008 and met her future husband. In 2009 she moved here and now lives with her husband in bush land over-looking the Hawkesbury River. The natural beauty of the bush and the river inspired Olga to return to her artistic past.
In 2010 Olga joined the Ferry Artists Gallery in Wisemans Ferry. She works predominantly with acrylic and clay, but she dabbles with watercolour and very much enjoys working with textiles.
